Last summer my family and I went on a cruise with my aunts, uncles, grandparents, and cousins. We got on a plane in New York that took us to Miami. We stayed in a hotel for one night and the next morning set sail on Carnival Cruise Lines.
The ship was named Valor, and we docked in Grand Cayman (Cayman Islands), Isla Roatan (Honduras), Belize City (Belize), and Cozumel (Mexico). On one trip, I got to visit four countries!
In Roatan, we got to hold monkeys and parrots, and went to the cleanest beach ever! Boy, do I wish I was there now. In Cozumel, I went to a beach with water trampolines. They were in 30-feet deep water. In Grand Cayman we went to a sand bar and kissed sting rays.
Every day, I would wake up in our room to the sound of waves splashing against the ship. On the first and last day of the cruise, when we were not docked anywhere, we stayed on the ship and had lots of fun. We swam in the pools, played mini golf and video games at the arcade, enjoyed the water balloon catapult, and ate way too much DELICIOUS food.
We went to make memories and memories are what we made.
